Canidium was founded by three seasoned consultants with years of experience delivering Incentive Compensation solutions. Their goal was to create a company that brought together top tier consultants as a focused enterprise instead of the independent “free-for-all” the industry had become. They realized that over time, smart customers and expert employees tend to stick with organizations that exhibit strong culture and staying power, not loosely affiliated contractor networks. Having worked for several types of companies in the past, the founders strived to take the best attributes of each and combine them here.
Canidium began our mission to provide the industry’s top experts and solutions in 2007 as a CallidusCloud partner. The three founders, along with a few carefully selected expert hires, worked on some large projects for a year and a half during which the entire team dedicated a portion of their earnings to launch Canidium. Within the next few years, new partnerships with Merced/NICE, Varicent/IBM, Oracle, Xactly and other vendors expanded the range of strategy and technology service offerings. Canidium then branched out to CPQ, Workflow and Sales Coaching and fully embraced the evolving market of Sales Performance Management (SPM) that has grown to encompass much more than incentives. In addition to SPM, Canidium also developed a Customer Service focused practice to help support partners and customers that needed assistance with agent performance management in their contact centers.
Over the years, our ownership structure has evolved to become a single managing partner with an executive leadership team. Through this transformation, our focus on the fundamentals has only enhanced as the strategy has been continually validated. We treat employees, customers and partners with genuine respect and strive to be both their easiest and most ethical relationship within the industry. Our identity has always been that of a company with specialized skillsets but a sound methodology that positions us to grow as a business regardless of the technologies involved. We strive to explore new ways to use our skills and problem solving techniques to put them to good use for our customers.
